Announcing the 4th annual RU International Guitar Festival that will bring International Guitarist performers to the Norwood Room in the Bondurant Center for the Arts from April 8th through the 10th.

The International Guitar Festival has consistently drawn an audience to the New River Valley and has drawn them from Northern VA as well as beyond the borders of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

FREE ADMISSION for the entire community and to each and every concert, workshop and masterclass (public lessons with the master musician and students).

Guitarists who wish to perform for one or more masterclasses must submit a recording to obtain a slot.

This April 8th through the10th will include a concerts and public workshops with:

Flamenco/fusion guitarist from Pakistan, Mir Ali
Award winning Classical Guitarist, Julian Gray

Jazz/Classical Fusion ensemble The Nova Project with Anthony Glise, (classical guitar/composer) and Jason Riley.

Also performing will be Robert Trent (Radford University Guitar Faculty) who will kick off the festival on Friday, April 8th with an eclectic program of solo classical and a grouping of jazz standards with singer Elizabeth Curtis.
